Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is a complication occasionally seen in women who take certain fertility medicines that stimulate egg production.

OHSS is treated as Kidney Qi disturbance and dampness stagnation due to external stimulation. The pattern differentiation:
1) Liver Qi Stagnation caused blood clotting
2) Ying Deficiency caused Dampness
3) Dampness blockage and Yang deficiency to remove the dampness
4) Prenatal Yang depletion. And causes Qi and Ying depletion in the end.
